- Attach a new brush head to the handle. Apply a small amount (pea-sized) of toothpaste to the bristles of the toothbrush and clean the teeth in circular motions from the outside and inside. Rinse the oral cavity with a small amount of water, keeping it in the mouth for 20-30 seconds.
