- Distribute evenly along the entire length of clean, damp hair using massaging movements. Leave on for 3–5 minutes, comb the hair, then rinse. For very damaged hair, cover the hair with a plastic cap and leave for 5 minutes under a heat source. Rinse after the hair has cooled.
